SaFire Soul

Welcome to Safire Meanderings.

For they are just meanderings. I do seek a destination, but i don’t know what or where that is.  Is this blog about me? I am not so sure. It could be about you. It could be about your boredom, your insecurities, your karma, and your journey.

Me? i am just one of those million already dead stars and some still mistake my light, which reaches them, oh so late, as a confirmation of my existence. But do i exist? Do you?

Have we all not lived our lives, and somebody is turning each page of our life, with feigned interest even when they are aware of the predicted end.

So, this blog may have a lot of ‘I’s’, but when all is written and read ,you should know this is really about ‘You’.

I am merely doing this because I want You to read it. and when Your need to read finishes, and your competitive fingers triumphantly declare, ” I am better”,  i will smile. Self delusionists amuse me. I like to think of myself as one.

So, welcome to your world . It really isn’t mine.

  1. i think this is one of the most interesting introductions to a blog I’ve ever come across. Very well composed and intriguing :) . Bravo fellow blogger … who if i am not mistaken has just started ?

  2. Thanks Shumaila. I am glad that you like it. It’s a work in progress. I am a relatively new blogger as well. :)

No. I am not based in Dubai. :)

    Thank you for the encouragement.

    ‘SaFire.’

  3. How would you define your Blog in just one word, besides its saphirical?

I haven’t read that much posts yet but i did find a variety of interests , so trying to understand what you are trying to convey.

Also I’m not a Blogger neither a Geek but i don’t know i was searching something on google and the result brought me here. I didn’t got time to read or view anything but the first impression was” Hmmm…. Intellectually Seducing Blog”, so i bookmarked it and now checked back after a long time while cleaning my bookmarks :)

Anyways, very impressive work MashAllah. Surely is Sapphirical.

  4. Thanks for the appreciation Mr. Sarfaraz. If you stop trying to understand what this blog conveys, you’ll realise, it conveys nothing. :) I am dead serious. It’s just someone writing whatever, whenever , however, wherever the person feels like it. No rocket science and no hidden agendas here. :)

I have never been good at one word definitions, so i’d just say, a little bit of this and a little bit of that.

JazakAllah for the appreciation again. :)

  5. Am speechless. One of the most beautiful blogs I’ve ever encountered =)

Adding you to my blog roll, looking forward to be in contact with you =)

      • Awwhh! =) That’s just the ‘way’ you looked at my blog, nothing more.

Looking forward to be in contact in this journey of self-discovery through our writings :)

      • thanks for ur lovely compliment sis :) :) …but this is one question I dread answering…coz it doesn’t have a proper meaning …mmmm well half of my name does ..lol
“nasmi”: means cool breeze or wind…i don’t know what the “ra” is doing there and most certainly don’t know what my parents were thinking when they named me so. :D :)

  6. @ Nasmira
your name is made up of two names.

    Nasmi and aara

    joined they make up Nasmira

    Nasmi means breeze
    aara means adoring.

    Nasmira means adoring breeze.

Your parents gave you such name because you are the adoring (loving) breeze in their life.

  7. Fascinating and intriguing…very glad to have discovered your blog.
Thank you for signing up to follow mine a while back—and sorry for the delay in acknowledging your interest. I do appreciate your readership and support!

    Happy New Year,
    Marci

  8. @ Nasmira

Glad to have brought you a Smile on the 29th December 2011 and Made your Day

Indeed wonderful site. I am very much attracted to it from the First day I visited it.

May you continue your Beautiful work by the Grace of Almighty.

    Take Care SaFire.

  9. found you on another page in another world of thoughts. glad i clicked safire (excuse the smalls, its my way of saving bandwidth!).
interesting name, could be many meaninged and faceted! be happy, be safe.

  10. It’s amazing, how someone, somewhere, and somehow develops the creativity to design and stitch together such an awesome, meaningful but yet imaginary poem or about me statement. We are all designed and stitched together to fulfil a role, a promise, to act our part and become part of the story.

I’m glad I followed the link here.

    • That is such a beautiful thing to say. My creative juices ( if any existed at all ) are almost dead or perhaps dead. Yet, i try…

Thank you for following my blog. I enjoyed reading yours.
